Weekly Wednesday Wish List #195

I saw my first daffodil peeking out of the ground on a hill this week! There were hundreds of them, all probably propagating organically. That little burst of yellow felt like a cheerful wave from spring, reminding me that warmer days are on the way. It must be the first-grade teacher in me, but I love signs of a new season!

In the spring, I watch for the first robin and the willow trees turning green. I inspect our flowering trees for swollen buds and revel in the first perfect warm day. These are simple joys. What spring signs make your day?
