Now tell me how to make an entrancev at or foyer. I live in a 1950 cape cod built by my father in law. It is home and we won’t be moving. You open the front door and you are in the great room.
Need something small and change able not say tis is a foyer.

I can’t be the only person with this problem.
    No blogger addresses this.
    Please help.

    1. I know that layout Ethel. My mother’s downsized home was like that. She had a small coat closet right by the tiled area when we walked in the door. In your case, you don’t really have a foyer at all. However, if you have a bare wall next to one side of the door it’s a great place to put a chest with a lamp on it and a place for keys or other necessities. Hope this helps.
